2022+ GR86/BRZ PnP Auto-Folding Side Mirrors

Plug and play kit for adding power folding functionality on US and Canadian market ZD8/ZN8. Includes JDM side mirrors (unless you choose to source your own), modified window switch (optional, USDM switch can be reused), auto-folding control module and all necessary harnesses to install a set of JDM side mirrors with no splicing. Retains all OEM functionality, including heated glass and blindspot monitoring if equipped.

Mirror glass and painted upper mirror cap must be transferred from original USDM mirrors.

This kit now comes with the option to source your own set of JDM side mirrors rather than having them included. If you choose to source your own mirrors, some tips below:

• If you wish to import brand new mirrors, the easiest way to do so is through Japanparts. You will need to order two items off their site:
  • MIRROR UNIT, DOOR PAIR
    
  • CAP, MIRROR STAY
• You can save some money by importing used mirrors. If you have an upper trim GR86 or BRZ, just make sure the mirrors you order have the blindspot monitoring LEDs in place. Also check to see if the lower base caps are included, as the USDM ones do not fit the JDM mirrors. If you need to purchase new base caps, see Japanparts link above. When reusing the original USDM window switch, power mirrors will fold automatically when doors are locked, and unfold automatically when doors are unlocked.

If you choose to add a modified window switch to your order, you will receive a USDM window switch with the JDM power folding button added. This will allow you to fold and unfold your mirrors as you wish using the button, in addition to the automatic folding upon lock and unlock. You can optionally return your original, unmodified USDM window switch for a $100 refund as well.
